GI Rights & Resistance
Since our founding in 1923, the War Resisters League has been committed to supporting conscientious objectors, GI resisters, and military families.
The incoming administration has already made it clear that they intend to expand the use of military force on as many fronts as they can. WRL is working with a network of groups with a history of GI Resistance and counter-recruitment work, who are actively creating a website of our collective resources.
Please check back here for updates. We will continue to post resources here.
You might also want to check the websites of the GI Rights and Resistance organizations that WRL is working with, including About Face Veterans Against the War, Center on Conscience and War, Quaker House, Veterans For Peace, Vietnam Veterans Against the War, Civilian-Soldier Alliance and the National Lawyers Guild Military Law Task Force.
