WRL has historically led leftist antimilitarist politics and organizing from supporting incarcerated conscientious objectors through both “World Wars,” organizing mass draft card actions throughout the 60s, producing the infamous “WIN ” Magazine giving us radical leftist political education + resistance to war from people's movements at home and abroad, mobilizing massive campaigns throughout the 80s and 90s calling for disarmament and denuclearization, and building a new antiwar movement that prioritizes those most impacted by war + violence at the center of decision-making and campaigning, all within a foundation of radical nonviolence as a tool for transformation.
