Founded in 1923, War Resisters League is building a movement to end war and its root causes, including racism, sexism, and all forms of human exploitation. Through building grassroots movements, education, strategy, and direct action, War Resisters League works to sow and grow seeds of peace and liberation in our time and for generations to come. All that is required to become a member of WRL is to sign our membership pledge, included below. You do not need to pay membership dues to be a WRL member, but as a grassroots-funded organization we rely on members to support our work. We greatly appreciate your financial support and all that you do for justice and peace.
WRL's Membership Statement: "The War Resisters League affirms that all war is a crime against humanity. We therefore are determined not to support any kind of war, international or civil, and to strive nonviolently for the removal of the causes of war, including racism, sexism and all forms of human exploitation."
